WHSL Podcast Premiere 🥳

You probably have already heard that I premiered the first-ever episode of the Work Hard Smile Large Podcast last Friday. It took a lot of work to make it happen, but it was definitely worth it. And even better, I got to celebrate with the amazing WHSL Community & our youth ambassadors. We were together on premiere night amongst this incredible audience, and even held a simultaneous live broadcast on the WHSL Youtube and Facebook page so people from all over the world could still join in on the fun! Watching the kids hear the WHSL promise and take the very first WHSL pledge to commit to treating themselves and others with kindness was so inspiring!

Our guest on the first episode was the talented singer/songwriter, Shelley Mac. Her story of how she was able to fulfill her dreams and find her purpose was inspiring, and her music perfectly complemented the already great atmosphere. Shelley was kind enough to perform during the live event with her mother, husband and son in the audience. As the WHSL community gathered to watch the premier, I felt overwhelmed with gratitude for everyone's support and commitment to Work Hard, Smile Large. Knowing that our community brings families together to celebrate hard work and the power of a smile is epic.

I genuinely thought that the presence of the youth ambassadors made the evening stand out, despite it being the WHSL Podcast's debut. It was what my goal is aiming to do, see the youth gathered in one spot, sharing their stories and experiences while saying our mantra, “Work Hard Smile Large” with such heartfelt emotion. Listening to them talk about how they're spreading kindness and positivity to their friends while being role models to all that they encounter.

While I was thinking back on the event, it became so clear to me how amazing it is to have a supportive community that's always there to lift each other up. I feel grateful to be part of a group of awesome people who share the same values as I do.

I'm excited to keep working with the community to spread kindness and positivity while inspiring others to do the same. Together, we can create a compassionate, loving, and kind world.
