Everyone needs a good beach day because it’s a symbol of the warmer months to come and the start of summer for anyone eager to jump into the waves and dig in the sand. Work Hard Smile Large took its tour on the road back to California in July. The premier invitee list included past classmates, teachers, friends, cousins and teammates to come together and celebrate the start of the summer. We met at lifeguard tower number 68 in fabulous Newport Beach, California. The kids caught up with each other, told stories about their previous school year at new and old schools. Parents talked about work and life while watching the kids build sand castles with the biggest smiles on their faces, especially those coming from Texas!
